NEXO is an Android app. It is coming soon to Google Play, and an iPhone version is coming to the App Store.

No. There is no sign-up and no login.

Tap Scan on the bottom bar or the Scan card on Home and point the camera at the page. NEXO finds the edges automatically. Capture it, add more pages if you like, then save. NEXO reads the text on the page and files it in the right Smart Vault.

No. Scanning, text reading, NEXO Chat, reminders and sorting all happen on your phone. We don’t run servers that receive your documents, scans, extracted text or chats.

Not for its core features. The internet is used for ads, for downloading language packs and recognition models the first time you use a feature, for Web Print, and for purchases.

NEXO’s private data is excluded from Android cloud backups. That keeps it private, but it also means that if you uninstall the app, clear its data or lose your phone, we can’t recover it. Export or share copies of important documents.

Yes. Turn on the lock in Settings to protect NEXO with your fingerprint, face or screen lock.

Camera to scan documents and QR codes; files and photos to import and save documents; notifications so NEXO can remind you before something is due; nearby devices only for Bluetooth printers and nearby transfer. You can change any of these in your phone’s app settings.

A screen that shows, on live data, how many documents NEXO holds and the space they use, that your data is kept out of cloud backups, whether App lock is on, your cache size, and which permissions are granted.

Document for pages and forms, ID Card (front, then back), Receipt, and Book (two facing pages captured and split). Pick the mode at the top of the scanner.

Hold the phone steady in good light and wipe the lens. Scan at a slight angle instead of straight above glossy paper, and turn the flash off if it causes glare. If a page still looks bad, scan it again: sharp scans give better text, answers and reminders.

Printed text works best. Handwriting and very decorative fonts may not be read perfectly.

On your phone, in the app’s private storage by default. In Settings you can switch the save location to the SD card. Find everything in Files, or open a Smart Vault.

It reads the documents on your phone and answers in plain words, showing the page it found the answer on. Ask about one document or your whole library.

NEXO Chat answers only from your documents and shows where it found each answer. If it can’t find something, it says so instead of guessing. For important amounts and dates, tap the source to double-check.

Yes. It runs on your phone, without internet.

Scanned pages, photos of documents and screenshots, and PDFs and Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) on your phone. Clear, well-lit text works best.

Check that the document really contains it and that the scan is clear. Ask for one fact at a time, or open the chat from that document. If you just connected your documents, wait until Preparing your documents finishes.

They sort your documents into groups such as Invoices, Receipts, Insurance, Travel, Banking, Tax, Legal, Medical, Education, IDs and Work, using what is written in them. Nothing is copied: a vault is just a view of your files.

Open the vault, tap ⋮ on the document and choose Change category. NEXO remembers your choice and won’t move it again.

NEXO looks in your documents for dates that matter: bill and fee due dates with the amount, insurance premiums, policy, passport and ID expiry, trip departures and contract end dates. Tap the bell on Home to see them, and get a phone notification before they are due.

Allow notifications for NEXO in your phone’s settings, turn on Smart Reminders in NEXO Settings, and make sure battery saver isn’t restricting NEXO. Reminders always appear under the bell, even when phone notifications are off.

Merge, split, page editor, insert pages, page numbers, watermark, stamps, signature, form filling, redact, lock and unlock, compress, image to PDF and back, searchable PDF and document info.

Choose a language and NEXO makes a translated copy that keeps the design, including text inside pictures and scanned pages. It supports 50+ languages. Each language pack downloads once, then translation works offline.

Yes. Redact permanently removes the areas you mark: the text under them is gone, not just covered. NEXO saves a redacted copy and leaves your original unchanged.

Yes. Lock adds a password to a PDF. Unlock asks for the password and saves a copy without it.

Wi-Fi printers (directly over IPP or through Android Print), USB printers with an OTG adapter, and Bluetooth thermal and label printers. Support varies by printer model.

Make sure your phone and printer are on the same network (for example both on 2.4 GHz). For Bluetooth, pair the printer in Android settings first. Still not working? Restart the printer and try again.

Open a web page in NEXO, then print it or save it as a PDF. You can also share a link to NEXO from your browser. Sign-in sessions stay inside NEXO, and you can clear the web data afterwards.

New users get a 7-day trial with every feature unlocked and no ads. After that you can continue on the free plan, which shows ads and adds a small “Scanned with NEXO” watermark to exports, or subscribe to NEXO Pro.

The NEXO scanner (four modes, manual crop, clean-up), NEXO Chat, Reminders, Translate PDF, no ads and no watermark.

Cancel any time in the app store; the subscription renews automatically until you do. To restore a purchase on a new phone, tap Restore Purchase in the Subscription screen while signed in to the same store account.

English, Hindi, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese and Chinese. Change it in Profile, then App Language.

Yes. NEXO has Dark and Light themes. Switch with the Dark mode switch in Profile or in Settings.

Email support@nexogalaxy.com, or use Settings, then Report a problem in the app, which opens a pre-filled email for you to review before sending. Diagnostics such as app version and device model are optional.
